Hi All, My name is David Smith and I am a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and Johns Hopkins University. I currently live in Washington D.C. but I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia. As a child growing up in Georgia, I always had the aspiration to learn a new language. Later, as an undergraduate student I had the opportunity to study Mandarin Chinese. In the following years, I lived in China twice and subsequently received a certificate in Chinese and American Studies at Johns Hopkins' SAIS campus in Nanjing, China. Similar to my transformative experience with Chinese, I would like to introduce students to the wonders of the English language.
