Full – time teachers position in Beijing International Educare Center

Job Overview
1. Conduct a “morning circle” English learning time with the guidance of school curriculum and add any additional learning stuff that relates to the topic
2. Designing and delivering indoor and outdoor exercise activities and leading these activities with an English environmental
3. Preparing the teaching materials and delivering the lessons based on the interests of the children
4. Take notes of each kids interests and play and communicate some information about each child on a daily report for parents.
5. Be responsible for helping babies to sleep or bottle feeding (nursery class only)
6. Participating in promotional or marketing events organized by the center ( maximum of 1 each month )
7. Lead an afternoon class with an English environment that is activity based such as art, music, cooking class.
8. Co-operate with the head teacher and the Chinese teachers for classroom decorations and environments
9. Teach children songs and dance without the usage of video technology (TV, computer, smart-board, and iPad) and interact with the children on a more personal level

About the school
1. Each class has 10 – 18 kids depending on the size
2. Teachers can enjoy a free lunch provided by the school
3. Kids age is from 18 months – 4 years old
4. Teacher to children ratio is from 1:3 – 1:5 depending on the age of the children

Work Time and Holidays
1. The work time of teachers shall be 40 hours per week. 8:30 – 5:30 with a one hour break from 12:30 – 13:30. The remaining time will be spent with the children.
2. Teachers will receive a paid leave under the Chinese national holidays schedule in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the nation for leave.
