School Hwangssaem English Academy

Our school, Hwangssam English, was founded in 2014 and it is a small private English School, from which students are provided with high quality of extra curricula. 

Our students are well behaved and hardworking. 

Teaching teen agers, who are in their stormy period of adolescence, is sometimes exhausting but at the same time, it also is meaningful due to the fact that teachers can give some positive influences on them which guide them and help them to make better decisions when they do not have clear ideas toward their unclear future.

Without the right guidance and lectures of those adults around them, it is difficult for the teens to build up their own life.

We would like our students to have the best teacher and we believe they deserve it.  That is the reason we put huge amount of time and effort to look for a teacher.

Like other teen agers, our students are sometimes naughty and make troubles but they are hardworking, willing to further their academic skills and want to move forward to meaningful future. 

We can promise that you will like our students if you meet them.

There are about 70-80 students, from 9-16 years old and the size of each class has less than 12 students.

Each class last 50 minutes and we have ten-minute breaks between classes.  

The academy is located in Seosan City which has a population of about 200,000 people and is 1.5 hours away from Seoul by bus. Since Seosan is near the west coast, there are several beaches you can visit. ESL Teacher Position December 2023 or January 2024 start 

ü  Location: Seosan (1.5 hr. From Seoul), ChungNam, South Korea

ü  Days of Work: Mon- Fri (14-22pm) one Friday off a month

ü  Hours: 8 hours

ü  Ages: 8 -17 

ü  Contract: 1 year 

ü  Salary: starting at 2.2million won + or above(negotiable depending on experience )

ü  Housing: Full furnished 2 bed room- apartment

ü  Flight: up to 1million won or one way flight compensation provided.

Requirements

ü  4-year BA degree

ü  Must be a native English speaker born or raised in English speaking countries.

ü  Teachers from England, America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand only.

ü  Visa: Application completed for you on or before arrival in Korea 

ü  Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline

ü  Experience working with teenagers or children relevant, but not required. 

ü  Note: Korean law requires a criminal record in order to receive a work visa. This needs to be completed upon acceptance of the position.
