As a teacher you will be responsible for delivering lessons to students aged between 3 and 18 in classes ratio’s between 1:4 and 1:12. You will facilitate the use of new language in a supportive environment that mimics real life scenarios whenever possible, using pre-provided real life objects, such as cooking food in our student kitchen facility. The lessons and languages overall aim will be for students to take the language out of the classroom and use it in everyday situations with confidence.

Teachers are able to enjoy working across our five modern, conveniently located centres and are part of an international team that are focussed on providing high quality education and share a passion for people.

• Initial base salary of 17,000RMB ($2,400USD) per month, with promotion to scaled student system after six months pending successful initial period (realistic 20-22k monthly salary)

We have a proven track record of taking children from the age of 3 who couldn’t speak a word of English and teaching them until they can debate and write persuasive essays to a college standard. Our commitment to the craft is permanent and our approach remains fluid.

Location and Costs

Wuxi is a mid-sized, rapidly developing and increasingly cosmopolitan city approximately 1 hour west of Shanghai. About 5,000 expats live in Wuxi, from teachers to engineers, scattered about the 5 main districts. Wuxi’s convenient location allows easy access to global attractions such as Disney World while also being home to many internationally recognized brands and cuisines.
