Currently, IBS Seri Thai campus is hiring for a full-time female Filipino teacher with a degree in Special Education to work hand-in-hand with our student who needs special needs and care. Our student has a wide range of special educational needs, including challenging behaviors, Autistic Spectrum Disorder

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

Qualifications:
1) Female Filipina teacher with a degree in Special Education ONLY!
2) Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (preferably in Special Education)
3) Kind, active and have patience with kids
4) Willing to commit to 1 year employment contract (contract is renewable)
5) **Qualified teachers are expected to start immediately!
6) Background knowledge in Autism Spectrum Disorder

Responsibilities:
- Works hand-in-hand with our students with special needs
- Create a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere in the classroom.
-This is a Full-time teaching position which starts from 7:00 am - 4:30 pm
-Motivating and stimulating children’s learning abilities, often encouraging learning through experience;
-Providing pastoral care and support to children and providing them with a secure environment to learn;
-Developing and producing visual aids and teaching resources;
organizing learning materials and resources and making imaginative use of resources;
-Planning and executing learning plans (IEPs);
-Developing lesson plans that reflect learning plans and curriculum;
-Assisting with the development of children’s personal, social, and language abilities;
-Supporting the development of children’s basic skills, including physical coordination, speech and communication;
-Developing children’s curiosity and knowledge;
-Working with others, including teaching assistants and therapists to plan and coordinate work both indoors and outdoors;
-Sharing knowledge gained with other practitioners and parents;
-Observing, assessing, and recording each child’s progress;
-Attending in-service training/case conferences and meetings;
-Ensuring the health and safety of children and staff is maintained during all activities, both inside and outside the nursery or school;
-Keeping up to date with changes in the curriculum and developments in best practice.
