Key Responsibilities:
• Teach English Language to high school students in line with the IGCSE and A Level curricula.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the learning objectives and standards of the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).
• Prepare students for their IGCSE and A Level exams by providing high-quality instruction, guidance, and feedback.
• Assign and assess homework, projects, and written assignments, ensuring timely and constructive feedback.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and school administration.
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources that enhance teaching and learning.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field. A Master's degree in English or Education is preferred.

• Teaching Certification: Teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, iPGCE, or equivalent) is required. QTS is an added advantage.

• Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience teaching English at the secondary level, preferably in an international school setting. Familiarity with the IGCSE and A Level curricula is essential.

• Skills: Strong classroom management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for teaching literature and language.

• Cultural Awareness: Experience working in a multicultural environment is highly desirable. The ability to adapt to diverse student needs and learning styles is essential.

• Technology Proficiency: Competency in using educational technology tools for enhancing the learning experience.
