My name is Tyler and have taught English in Japan as an ESL teacher for over two years. During university I studied Japanese for nearly 4 years. One of those years was an immersive study abroad program at Shinshu University. During my year abroad, I taught English part time for a year. I really enjoyed it, so after I graduated I went back to the same city to continue English teaching. I taught English at Shinshu University Faculty of Education for Pre-K through Junior High for another year, and learned a lot during that time. Being a university school, we were constantly learning new teaching methods, which I benefited a lot from. The experience has made me a very good teacher.
