AUA is looking for teachers for its English for Schools Program. The Teacher will be based at the host school listed below. The English for Schools Program is an ESL program managed by AUA with teachers supervised by our team. The program is offered at partner schools.

The successful applicants will be offered a 12 month (until the end of April 2022) 40-hour a week contract and be paid a monthly salary. Teachers will be assigned up to 20 regular contact hours per week. The rest of the time will be for preparation of classes and tests, administration, and other school related work. Teachers will be expected to cover for absent teachers when necessary. There may be live online classes and recorded classes to be prepared. Teachers will be given training each year. There will be a very occasional need to attend a seminar or other event on a weekend.

Candidates for all positions must:
• Be native speakers of English
• Be culturally aware
• Have a first degree and Tefl Certificate, or other teaching qualification.
• Have two year experience teaching children

Due to the current visa restrictions the candidate must have a visa that allows them to stay in Thailand over the next few months - non-immigrant visas, for example which have not expired and can be changed within the country.

The contract is until the school year ends in 2022, which is renewable with agreement of all parties.
