Job Description

HelloKid is seeking enthusiastic, reliable and qualified Online English Teachers to join our international teaching team.

Successful candidates will teach English to children aged 4 to 16 through interactive, one-on-one online lessons. Classes are 25 minutes long and conducted through the ClassIn teaching platform. Teaching materials are provided.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver engaging and interactive English lessons to young learners.
2. Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
3. Help students improve their English speaking, listening, pronunciation and communication skills.
4. Use teaching techniques such as TPR, visual aids and props.
5. Maintain a professional and reliable teaching schedule.
6. Provide high-quality lessons and encourage student participation.

Minimum Requirements

1. Aged between 19 and 45 years.
2. Minimum one year of teaching experience.
3. Valid TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or equivalent qualification.
4. Experience teaching children is advantageous.
5. Fluent English with clear pronunciation.
6. Laptop or computer with an Intel i5 processor or higher.
7. Stable internet connection with at least 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
8. Quiet, professional teaching environment.

Working Hours

1. Available 5 to 6 days per week.
2. Minimum 3 hours of availability per teaching day.
3. At least 4 consecutive teaching slots daily.
4. Minimum 14 fixed peak hours weekly.
5. Peak teaching hours: 18:00 to 21:30 Beijing Time.
6. Ability to commit to a fixed teaching schedule for one year.
7. Weekend availability is advantageous.
