The English Program at Assumption College Primary Section (Bangkok) is seeking 4 qualified, Lower Primary teachers from native English speaking countries to join our friendly, supportive and professional team. The positions available are:
1. Primary Grade 1 Homeroom (1 position)
This teacher will teach 19 periods, including English, Mathematics, Science and Health to their own homeroom class. They will also be responsible for looking after the welfare of the students in their class.
2. Primary Grade 2 Homeroom (1 position)
This teacher will teach 19 periods, including English, Mathematics, Science and Health to their own homeroom class. They will also be responsible for looking after the welfare of the students in their class.
3. Primary Grade 3 Homeroom (1 position)
This teacher will teach 18 periods of English, Mathematics, Science and Health to their own homeroom class. They will also teach 1 period of PE to their own homeroom class (not including swimming). They will also be responsible for looking after the welfare of the students in their class.
4. Primary Grade 3 Homeroom + Grade 3 STEAM (1 position)
This teacher will teach 14 periods of English, Mathematics and Science to their own homeroom class. They will also teach 5 periods of STEAM to Grade 3 classes. This is a project based lesson, either in the classroom or in our dedicated STEAM Lab. The projects combine Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM). They will also be responsible for looking after the welfare of the students in their class.

Because of the COVID travel situation, applicants must currently be in Thailand.
Applicants should have an ability to inspire young children and be a positive team player. All applicants must have a degree in education or a post graduate teaching certificate (PGCE or equivalent).
The positions are available to start from Thursday, 1st April 2021.
The initial contract will be until the end of March 2022 and, subject to performance, the contract will be extended for an additional twelve months from that time.
The successful applicants will receive a monthly salary of 83,000 Baht, end of year bonus, health insurance and approximately eleven weeks paid holiday (in a full school year). EP class sizes are 20 students in Grade 1 and 25 students in Grades 2-6.
