IGCSE / A Level Chemistry/ Co-ordinated Science Teacher (short term contract with immediate start)

The Australian International School of Bangkok an immediate, exciting opening for an experienced and passionate IGCSE/AS and A Level Chemistry Teacher to join our new and exciting Secondary school section.

The Teacher’s responsibilities include preparing lessons, tests and assignments, arranging and supervising students during investigations and experiments. You must want your students to achieve their very best and be willing to work with them with this in mind.

You should ideally have experience of the International Cambridge curriculum, and be able to teach students from different backgrounds, with varying aptitudes and interests. Ability to teach Physics would be an advantage (not essential).

Essential Requirements
• Must be native English speaker.
• Must be registered, or licensed, or eligible for registration as a teacher in either; Australia, New Zealand, the UK, USA or Canada only.
Desirable Requirements
• Minimum of 3 Years experience teaching the IGCSE and A levels (Coordinated Science/Chemistry).
• Working knowledge of the International Cambridge Curriculum.
• Experience in teaching students from different backgrounds, with varying aptitudes and interests.

Conditions of Service
• A 4 month contract is offered with possibility of extension.
