Position: Middle School Homeroom teacher
Location: Shunyi District, Beijing
Start Date: Beginning of August 2026
Responsibilities:
-Prepare and deliver lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities
-Mark work, appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils progress and development
-Research new topic areas, maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge and devise & write new curriculum materials
-Prepare students for external examinations
-You will be in charge of a class of Primary students, supporting them on an individual basis through academic and personal difficulties
-communicate with parents and carers and participate in departmental meetings, parent’s evenings and other school events
-Classroom homeroom management
-Participate in weekend student recruitment activities at least 1 Saturday or 1 Sunday each month
Requirements:
-Bachelor degree or above
-Familiar with IGCSE syllabus and IB MYP concept based teaching methodology
-At least 3 years relevant teaching experience is an advantage
-Postgraduate degree in Education or related teaching subject is an advantage
-A teaching license by home country’s Education ministry is an advantage
-Knowledge on IB PYP/MYP/IPC approach is an advantage
