BCM Educational Group is hiring U.S. and Canadian ESL Teachers residing in PHILIPPINES to provide engaging online English lessons to Korean and Japanese students.

What You’ll Do

1. Conduct 10-, 15-, 20-, 25-, and 30-minute online English classes.
2. Teach primarily conversational English to Korean and Japanese students.
3. Work with students from different age groups, with most students being working professionals.
4. Follow provided lesson materials and customized student guidelines.
5. Encourage students to communicate naturally and confidently in English.
6. Provide accurate and constructive post-class feedback.
7. Focus on the student and teaching experience—our goal is to make teaching as simple and distraction-free as possible.
8. No phonics instruction is required.

Who We’re Looking For

1. Bachelor's degree holder.
2. Must be a U.S. citizen or Canadian citizen
3. Strong spoken English communication skills.
4. Comfortable teaching students from different age groups and backgrounds.
5. Reliable and able to commit to an agreed teaching schedule.
6. Previous teaching experience or teaching certification is NOT required.

Technical Requirements

To provide a stable and high-quality online teaching experience, applicants must have:

1. Computer with at least 4 CPU cores and 4 threads
2. 8 GB RAM or higher
3. SSD storage
4. Stable fiber internet connection
5. Minimum 20 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload speed
6. USB noise-canceling headset
7. A working webcam suitable for online video classes

Please note: 3.5mm/audio jack-type headsets are currently not accepted.

Available Teaching Hours

Korea Standard Time (KST)

We are currently looking for teachers who can commit to the following schedules:

Option 1:

Tuesday & Thursday — 6:00 PM–9:00 PM

Option 2:

Monday–Friday — 9:00 PM–12:00 AM

Teachers may be considered for one or both schedules depending on availability and business requirements.

Compensation

1. $2 per successful 10-minute class
2. $4 per successful 20-minute class
3. $6 per successful 30-minute class

Class rates are based on the full class being successfully conducted. Unsuccessful classes are paid $2 regardless of the duration of the class.
