Position Details

1. Title: 1:1
2. Contract: 3 months ~ 12 months (renewable)
3. Locations: Seoul or Busan
4. Schedule:
5. up to 40-hours (attendance only for scheduled classes)
6. Senior teachers average 34–38 teaching hrs/week
7. Split-shift bonuses available

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree
2. Apostilled diploma & background check
3. E2 or F visa (in Korea preferred)
4. Native or near-native English fluency

Salary & Housing — PagodaOne (1:1 Class)

1. Employment Contract (E2 Visa, Full-time)

Monthly salary and hourly rates are consistent across regions, with housing support tailored to your location.

1. Monthly Base: ₩2,500,000 – ₩3,200,000 (increments of ₩100,000 per year of service)
2. Hourly Rate: ₩20,000 – ₩33,000 (adjusted based on 12-month performance reviews)

Housing Support:

Seoul

• Option A: ₩5,000,000 deposit + ₩200,000/mo

• Option B (No Housing): Additional ₩400,000/mo

Busan

• Option A: ₩5,000,000 deposit + ₩250,000/mo

• Option B (No Housing): Additional ₩500,000/mo

2. Freelance Contract (Korean Teachers, F Visa)

Service rates are structured by performance level, offering high earning potential based on experience and results.

1. Level 1: ₩20,000 – ₩27,000 per hour
2. Level 2: ₩22,000 – ₩30,000 per hour
3. Level 3: ₩24,000 – ₩33,000 per hour

Contract terms and levels are reviewed every 6 months. Level adjustments (upward or downward) are typically managed in 1-step increments, though 2-step movements are possible based on exceptional performance.
