Qualifications and Skills:
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: At least 3-5 years of teaching experience in an IB PYP school, with prior experience in curriculum coordination or leadership roles.
• IB Certification: IB PYP Workshop completion and PYP Coordinator experience is preferred.
• Leadership Skills: Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor and support teachers.
• Curriculum Development: Deep understanding of the PYP framework, inquiry-based learning, and transdisciplinary teaching approaches.
• Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and the wider school community.
• Cultural Awareness: Experience working in international or multicultural settings is an asset.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff, students, and parents.
• Technology Proficiency: Competency in using educational technology tools for curriculum development, teaching, and assessment.
