WHAT YOU NEED

• A passport from a country where English is an official language
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (or higher)
• Must be able to pass a national-level criminal background check
• Holders of a US associates degree may be considered so long as they also hold a TEFL certificate at the time of application

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain an enjoyable and safe academic environment in which students may learn and grow
• Prepare and deliver engaging, effective, and fun lessons using the HESS curriculum
• Grade homework, quizzes, tests, as well as complete administrative tasks
• Effectively communicate feedback to students and progress to parents

WHAT WE OFFER

• Competitive hourly teaching rate, from 680-730 NTD to start
• Guaranteed minimum of 20 teaching hours per week (our teachers average 25-26 teaching horus per week)
• Additional 3,000 NTD per month for completing administrative work
• Annual raises and contract completion bonuses
• Enrollment in Taiwan’s National Health Insurance Program
• Immigration and onboarding assistance (work permit, resident visa, ARC, training accommodations, and more)
• Training and support before you head to your school and throughout your first year
• Advancement potential and transfer opportunities throughout Taiwan
