I hold a Master’s degree in Musical Arts from Chicago University, along with PGCE, and have over five years of teaching experience, including within an international school environment in China, working with students across a range of age groups. In my current role, I teach vocal training, piano, bass guitar, music theory, music production (Ableton and Logic Pro), music history, and acting, while designing engaging and interactive lessons. I also lead the school choir and rock band, and regularly organize performances and productions. I am familiar with the IB and PYP frameworks and incorporate elements of the Orff and Kodály approaches into my teaching. Additionally, I am TEFL-certified and have conversational Mandarin skills, which support effective communication in multicultural settings. As a performer, I have received awards in opera singing competitions and have had the honor of performing for the President of Serbia.
