For my primary experience, I offer 5 plus years of experience in tutoring; I have been able to tutor mostly elementary and middle school students for Language Arts and Math. I also used to tutor high school students in the past. The teaching approaches that appealed to me the most were the Direct, Grammar Translation, and Reading Approaches. The Communicative approach is important as well. This is because I recognize that it is important for students to have exposure to language through experiencing language in every way, reading, listening, speaking and writing are all part of interaction with language.
