I have been involved in education for over a decade. I started as a Para-education and now I am a teacher. As a resource teacher I am the gateway to special education, and the door closer. I assist in filling in the gap. I assess student's academic intelligence, develop individual education plans, team teach with general education, and teach students who qualify for additional support to stay grade level. I also, find the challenges fix them, and get them back on track academically. I would like to teach reading virtually, as reading and vocabulary are my specialties. I would love to teach anyone who needs to learn or is struggling with reading. I am very passionate about education and meeting students at their level, and learning style. Research based strategies are powerful tools, and what I love to use with students in order to create success, and to develop a love for learning. Learning needs to be fun, and students have to feel successful to enjoy learning.
