I am a passionate and approachable teacher with 15 years of professional experience. I started my teaching career as an ESL/Business English instructor in Sapporo, Japan. From the start of my career to the present day, I have worked in various fields of education and academic research. My most recent teaching appointment (on location) was that of an ELA instructor. As an ELA instructor, my duties were to teach and manage four classes of up to twenty-five students per class in English Literature, reading comprehension, essay writing, and creative writing. For the past two years, I have been instructing online ESL courses with VIPKid. I instruct each class with a focus on authentic input and an emphasis on individualized learning. I have a firm belief that with the appropriate instruction and support, students can achieve their own goals and more. I am currently interested opportunities teaching online. I am also open to teaching abroad again (South America/Asia).
