I have gained a great deal of hands-on experiences teaching, scheduling and collecting data as well as curriculum development as both an ESL teacher and Program Coordinator. In my previous position at the International Rescue Committee as Program Coordinator, I gained experience developing the curriculum for the adult pre-literacy, beginner, VESL and citizenship courses. In this position I was charged with training, supervising, providing feedback and maintaining work schedule of 12-14 teachers. I was also responsible for the evaluation and placement of students. In addition, I would meet with teachers to provide evaluation and feedback as well as student progress and the re-evaluation all students every 3 months.
