About me

Job and volunteer opportunities with children has allowed me to hone in on a vision. A vison of individualism and healing in the classroom. From daydreaming about helping those who are less fortunate than I am to becoming oh so fascinated with pyscholegal issues within the criminal justice system, I eventually cultivated my knack for psychology, children, teaching and experiencing trauma by intertwining the three and deciding to study forensic psychology at Barry University in Miami Florida. Along the way I’ve gotten the chance to work closely with advocacy work and educating youth. In the midst of earning my degree, I have acquired the necessary skill and knowledge to address issues concerning child victimization, family violence, and child/adolescent development concerns. My experiences as a teacher, student, fellow, and elder have shaped me into the empathic, child-loving, vision-broadening, therapy-promoting, activist that I am today.
