I’m a native speaker from the UK with a TEFL, degree and over a years teaching experience. Before COVID hit and the world went into turmoil I was loving life working as a English Teacher in Hanoi, Vietnam. Since then life has been quite a whirlwind but now I’m really looking to settle down and get back to teaching. Whilst teaching in Hanoi I gained great confidence and skills in planning and running classes, the majority of my students were aged 4 -15 and I am most comfortable teaching students of this age. I gained a great knowledge of educational games and activities that I can bring with me and adapt to new classes and I am excited to get back to encouraging learning through fun! I have a First Class BA Hons Degree and have also worked in the creative sector for numerous years, I would love to draw upon my artistic skills to provide engaging classroom materials and maintain an interesting and thought provoking learning environment. I believe my enthusiastic and colourful approach would lends itself perfectly to teaching younger students. Apart from my experience at Apollo I have also thrived in a variety of other teaching environments whilst traveling South East Asia for 5 months. I have taught a class of 50 absolute beginners aged 7-15 in Battambang, Cambodia, a group of 5 young adults with varying ability in Bangkok, Thailand and conversational lessons with professional adults in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. I am very versatile and adjust very quickly and enthusiastically to my surroundings. I am currently looking for positions in either South Korea, Portugal or Thailand, working Monday to Friday.
