My hope for my students is that education empowers them to further their life goals. I have taught English, History, Music, Special Education, and the Bible around the United States and in West Africa. I graduated from Swarthmore College, and have taken courses in Spanish, Wolof, and Swahili. I am passionate about making cross-cultural connections engaging, by using a strengths based, student-centered approach.
