I have been a classroom teacher for about 13 years. Throughout my career I have taught math, science, social studies, and reading and writing. I have worked with students with special needs in both a special education environment as well as in a general education classroom. I absolutely love seeing lightbulbs go off when my students understand something they’ve been struggling with! I believe that when a student doesn’t understand something, the teacher has to find a new way to teach under the student is able to connect those dots!
