I am an Irish qualified primary school teacher with a 1:1 Honours Bachelor Degree in Primary Education. I am a Froebellian trained teacher which means I am committed to creating a positive, stimulating learning environment with active, playful, hands-on methodologies to engage children in a thematic approach to all curricular subjects. I am interested in language acquisition, especially in a child’s second or third language. I advocate for child-led learning alongside intrinsic motivation. I have a strong work ethic and am eager to volunteer for new opportunities. I engage with both formative and summative assessment to start at appropriate levels for the children.
