I am thrilled at the thought of continuing to further my professional development among one of these exceptional schools. My higher education has mainly been in education. Through my studies in Early Childhood Education, I have developed the skills needed to work with young children. I have learned to be creative in my lesson planning using the simple resources available in the classroom. Furthermore, my university studies have prepared me to cooperate with school staff as well as fully develop the skills needed to meet the academic and personal needs of my students. During my four fieldwork experiences, I have developed the 12 teaching competencies established by the Quebec ministry of Education. For instance, my third fieldwork experience was in a setting where I was privileged to have at my disposal Information and Communication Technologies. I incorporated these resources in most of my lessons. This allowed me to further develop my skills. I am excited at the thought of working for a school that views education as a milestone that should be delivered in a fun interactive manner and not as a business.
