Responsibilities:
- Classroom management.
- Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes and age groups;
- Preparing and setting tests, examination papers and exercises;
- Checking and assessing homework,
- Assessing, recording and reporting on the attendance, progress, development and attainment of students whilst keeping electronic records as required.
- Marking and providing appropriate feedback;
- Devising, writing and producing new materials, including audio and visual resources.
- Organizing and getting involved in social and cultural activities such as games, sports competitions, school parties, dinners, excursions and social events;
- Attending and contributing to training sessions;
- Participating in marketing events for the language school;
- Preparing information for inspection visits and other quality assurance exercises.
- Teaching on a one-to-one basis.
- Teaching online.
- Using a variety of delivery methods, which will stimulate learning appropriate to student needs and demands of the syllabus.
- finding ways to involve students into their lessons. Additionally, teachers may have to work with different learning styles to get the most out of each student.
- Undertaking such other duties as are commensurate with the post and which may reasonably be required by the Principal such as preparing materials, recording educational video, etc;
- organizing and running specialist courses.
- working collaboratively with all Awesome Academy staff;
- collaborating with other departments;
- contributing to sales and marketing activities;
- other assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a B.A. or B.Ed. in any subject
- A TEFL / CELTA Certificate
- Passport holders from UK, Ireland, US, Canada, New Zealand or Australia
