About our School:
Located just across the street from Olympic Park and a short walk from the Han River, Kangnam Pride Institute is an elite private academy that caters to advance English language learners. We take pride in offering our students a world-class educational experience and an opportunity to learn English in a fun, dynamic and creative environment. KPI caters to a student population ranging from preschool through 6th grade. Our staff includes over 20 foreign members, many of whom are certified teachers in their home countries and/or have taught extensively in EFL and non-EFL classrooms around the world. Job Description:
Native English teacher responsible for teaching kinder and elementary students. 9:00-7:30 twice a week, 9:00-6:00 3 times a week with an hour duty-free lunch break.
The ideal candidate:
*North American citizenship holders (USA and Canada)
Education: Bachelors or Masters Degree (Education majors preferred, but not necessary. All applicants will be considered.)
Experience: Some teaching experience required. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a love of working with children. He/She will have a good understanding of the English language. He/she will have a good understanding of how to manage a classroom and the flexibility to manipulate lessons to meet the individual needs and levels of students. Patience, compassion, and the desire to build strong relationships with your students is important. Enthusiasm and energy to incorporate into your lessons and the creativity to make learning fun.
