American STEM Education (ASE) and Symless Health are thrilled to recruit a bilingual university-level ESL professor in the city of Querétaro, Mexico. This is a new partnership between ASE, Symless and local universities to bring American ESL teachers into the classroom to support university students endeavoring in academic fields requiring higher English proficiency.

Role Description

The ideal candidate should hold an ESL teaching certification, possess experience teaching university-level students, be adaptable in their educational methods and schedule for travel between campuses. This is a full-time on-site role as a University ESL Teacher in Querétaro. The ESL Teacher will be responsible for teaching English as a foreign language to university students through the creation and implementation of lesson plans based on a provided scope and sequencing.

Qualifications

• English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual (Spanish & English)
• Experience working with international students is preferred
• Experience working with university level students is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field; Master's desired
• TESOL or TEFL certification is a plus
